The Glycine max Constitutive (GmCons) Promoter family
The GmCons promoter family refers
to a subset of putative reference genes that were evaluated for uniformity of
expression stability under different conditions
(as described in: M.
Libault, S. Thibivilliers, D. D. Bilgin, O. Radwan, M. Benitez, S. J. Clough,
and G. Stacey (2008)
Identification of four soybean reference genes for gene expression normalization.
Plant Genome 1:44-54). Of the 18 genes selected for extensive analysis,
the following 4 were classified as "reference genes" for expression analyses:
Cons4, annotated as an ATP-binding cassette [ABC] transporter;
Cons6, F-box protein; Cons7, metalloprotease (promoter not cloned); Cons15, CDPK-related
protein kinase
(promoter not cloned).
