Grant Awarded to AMP and Partners

The Agroecosystems Managment Program and partners have been awarded a $175,000 grant from the Fund for Our Economic Future to continue work on localfoodsystems.org and other research in ag-bio science clusters. The mission of the Fund is, "to encourage and advance a regional competitiveness agenda which will lead to long-term economic revitalization that strengthens our region’s core cities, encourages inclusion and enhances the region’s quality of life." Localfoodsystems.org provides online tools to enhance the collaborative network of agricutural businesses in NE Ohio, and to help people and communities develop new agricultural business ideas and find working partnerships.
