A Formula For Higher Pest Resistance in Ornamental Trees
WOOSTER, Ohio Stronger cultivars. Less fertilizers. Less pesticides. These are the three ingredients in a formula developed by Ohio State University researcher Dan Herms to promote higher pest resistance in popular ornamental trees and shrubs.

EORDC Manager Receives Ohio Cattlemen's Award
CALDWELL, Ohio Wayne Shriver is not only the man responsible for the daily operations of the Eastern Ohio Resource and Development Center (EORDC). Hes also the owner of one of the states most successful cow-calf operations, which earned him the first-ever Ohio Cattlemens Association Commercial Producer of the Year Award.

School to Teach Benefits of Agricultural Drainage
WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio Of the nearly 12 million acres of cropland in Ohio, over 60 percent has been improved through agricultural drainage improvements. About 3.5 million acres, however, could still benefit from surface, subsurface and other fieldwork.

Chow Line: Make good 'mono' and 'poly' choices (for 3/23/03)
I know "good" fats include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. But I can't find a good list of foods high in those fats. Help!

OARDC, OSU Extension Join Effort to Fight Ash Pest Found in Ohio
WOOSTER, Ohio Scientists with the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) and Ohio State University Extension are joining a statewide effort to control the spread of a dangerous exotic pest of ash whose presence was confirmed in Ohio Feb. 28.
