Economic entomologist in tree fruit insects and
pest management; Co-developer of computer decision support technologies
associated with pesticide use, on-farm crop production systems, AI/expert
systems, cost/benefit assessments; Head of multi-disciplinary team on pest
control application technology with principle focus on optimizing on-farm
pest control strategies. Hall manages 8-10 Post-Docs and Research Scientists
in private and federally funded ongoing projects and has received ca. $950,000
from various sources in the last five years. LPCAT has ca. $1.5 million
