Library Site

Purpose:  Committee has the following duties and responsibilities:

• Advise the Librarian on operational procedures.
• Consider requests for acquisitions.
• Serve as a liaison between the Library and the research departments.
• Serve as a support group for the Library.
• Recommend policies governing Library use and operation to the Director.

Committee Membership:  Six members will be appointed by the Director (or designee); at least 5 members should come from the faculty; one member may be a staff person.  Members serve three-year terms with two new members rotating onto the committee each year.  The Graduate Student Association will provide a representative annually.  The Librarian is a permanent member of the Committee.  The Chair and Secretary are the two members serving the last year of their terms.
