OARDC Graduate Student Poster Competition and Awards Committee
Purpose: Committee is responsible for organizing the graduate student poster competition and awards. This competition, open to any currently enrolled M.S. or Ph.D students who meet the eligibility criteria, has been established to showcase graduate research in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and the OARDC, to encourage graduate student participation at the Conference, and to enlighten College and OARDC personnel on the diversity of research projects being conducted at our institution. Faculty serve three-year terms with two new members rotating onto the committee each year.
Committee members will provide leadership in:
- monitoring poster competition registration and submission of abstracts
- monitoring the submission of posters into the OSU Knowledge Bank
- securing faculty members to judge poster competition entries
- displaying the posters during the Annual Research Conference
- notifying the OARDC Director's Office of the award winners in each competition category.
