Victoria Chen received the B.E. degree in Architecture from Southwest Jiaotong University in China (1996) and the M.E. degree in Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore (2003). She also earned another M.S. degree in Architecture (2004) and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental Design and Planning/Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia (2007).

Since Sept. 2007, she has been an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University, the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Columbus, OH.

Her current research interests are interface management and interface object modeling for integrated project delivery, Building Information Modeling, IT applications in Construction Management, Lean Construction and Agile Project Management, Green Building and Sustainability, etc.

She has six years of construction industry work experience. From 1998 to 2002, she worked with United Reliance Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore and participated in a variety of design, supply and installation of glass wall projects in Asian countries and the US.
