Eligibility
ELIGIBILTY FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPATION Full-time, part-time, temporary or permanent faculty, full-time or part-time staff and students located at the Wooster campus or outlying OARDC Agricultural Research Stations (ARS) campuses are eligible to participate. USDA-ARS employees are not eligible for this benefit. An eligible participant must be an OARDC employee or registered OSU student (whom is paid by OSU/OARDC) and is either a single custodial parent or whose spouse is either working or attending classes as an officially registered student. Hours qualifying for reimbursement are those during which both parents (for a two-custodial-parent family) or the single parent are working outside of the home or inside the home in an income generating capacity or attending classes (includes lectures, laboratory exercises, examinations, field trips, and other official class activities) for which they are officially registered. Qualifying children must be under 12 years of age and enrolled in a State of Ohio licensed childcare facility or preschool at the time of application. Requests can be made to the Childcare Program for special medical circumstances.
