Payment

Per OSU/OARDC policy, effective July 1, 2004, reimbursements will be made on a monthly basis and will be included in the employee’s paycheck. This subsidy will be monitored by the fiscal officer of the Childcare Program committee to stay within the allocated budget for the fiscal year. If there are any questions, please contact the current Childcare Program chair.

OSU DEPENDENT CARE FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

OSU Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) provides employees an opportunity to pay for dependent care expenses on a tax-free basis by contributing to an account through pre-tax payroll deductions. Refer online to http://hr.osu.edu/benefits/flex.htm, to obtain information about eligible plan expenses and additional plan details. Funds claimed and reimbursed through the OARDC Childcare Program cannot be claimed and reimbursed through The OSU FSA, to do so is a violation of University policy and can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
