Our Mission

The Wooster Campus Safety Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the ATI and OARDC Directors, for developing and establishing policy relating to safety at the Wooster Campus and the Research Stations, including facilities, equipment, personnel and procedures.

And how do we do this?

The committee meets 6 times a year at Fisher Auditorium on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.  Here the committe receives updates on upcoming training, lab and fire safety and equipment inspections, as well as general safety issues from our OSU Police and the EHS office.  The meeting is attended by representatives from all departments at both the OARDC and ATI, as well as outlying branches and our USDA staff in Wooster.
