Two awards at CRWAD in Chicago

Two of our researchers received awards at the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases in Chicago this week.

Dharanesh Gangaiah's oral presentation received first place in the Bacterial Pathogenesis Section - American College of Veterinary Microbiologist Award entitled "Role of Polyphosphate Kinase 2 in Campylobacter jejuni stress responses, host colonization and pathogenesis".

Varun Dwivedi's poster received first place in the Respiratory Diseases Section - American College of Veterinary Microbiologist Award  entitled "Steps towards development of a novel mucosal vaccine to PRRSV".
