The ACVM Award for Best Oral Presentation!

Smitha Pillai (PhD student) received the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists Student Awards for best oral presentation at the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases (88th Annual Meeting). December 1-4, 2007. Chicago, Illinois. She gave a presentation entitled "Infection and transmission studies with low pathogenic H5 subtype avian influenza viruses of different origins".
