Research areas: diseases of poultry and immune response of avian species. Current projects involve infectious bursal disease viurs infections and enteric viruses of turkeys. Special emphasis is on studies of pathogenic, antigenic and immunogenic characteristics of infectious bursal disease virus and the role of enteric viurses in diseases of young turkeys. We are continuously working on the development of methodologies for study and diagnosis of the infections.
