Undergraduate Education
A specialization in Floriculture is available within the Crop Science and Landscape Horticulture majors in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science. This curriculum has been designed to train the next generation of Floriculture professionals. Course work and internship opportunities provide students with the technical skills necessary to produce quality Floriculture crops and foster the development of communication and leadership skills.
At Ohio State’s Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) in Wooster, Ohio, students may major in Greenhouse Production and Management to be qualified upon graduation to enter middle management positions in the greenhouse industry. Students may also major in the Associate of Science degree program, Horticultural Science, and then transfer to the Columbus campus to complete their bachelor’s degree within the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science.
