The purpose of this site
is to provide information on FRACTURES occurring in glacial till, lacustrine
deposits, and overlying soils. The links found in the left frame will
take you to several State of Ohio government agencies that have content
dealing with Ohio's glaciation and soil properties. There are also links
to the Iowa State Soils Database and "MUIR" (Map Unit Interpretation
Database) database.The Ohio Fracture Flow Work Group is currently writing
a series of papers to be published by the Ohio Journal of Science under
the auspices of The Ohio Academy of Science (http://www.ohiosci.org/ojs.htm).
