Past Lab Members


Wonhee Cha

Wonhee Cha has a DVM degree from Kon-kuk University, Korea. After graduation, she was selected as a Korea Overseas Volunteer (by the Korea International Cooperation Agency) and worked as a public veterinarian at the office of agriculture and livestock at Temeke Municipal in Tanzania for two years. Her goal is to work at the international organizations such as WHO, OIE, or FAO, and conduct an applied research in the area of infectious diseases of the third world.

Erica Ford is approaching her third year as an Animal Sciences major at The Ohio State University's Main Campus.  She is here at the OARDC as a participant in the Food Animal Health Research Program Minority Fellowship.  Erica hopes to gain some experience in the field of Animal Research and determine if she has an interest in the field.  Her goal is to become a veterinarian or an animal physical therapist.

Juan

Juan Luis Vazquez will be a senior Microbiology major at Universidad del Este in Puerto Rico this fall.  Juan is at the OARDC as part of the Model Institutions of Excellence.  He plans on pursuing a career in pharmacy.

Ethan

Ethan Horst graduated from Eastern Mennonite University this past spring with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.  A native of Wooster he has worked at the OARDC for several summers, starting in high school.  Ethan is working in FAHRP to gain experience in Animal Research.  This fall he will be attending James Madison University to earn a Masters of Science in Biology.

Sarah

Sarah Czapranski has just finished her first year as an animal sciences major at OSU.  She hopes to one day attend veterinary school.  She is currently just exploring and learning everything she can.
