How do I...?

• Request a book from Columbus?

  1. Search OSU online catalog.
  2. Click on Request this item button.
  3. Enter your name/id.
  4. Choose ARD as the pickup location.

• Request an article from Columbus?

  Logon to ILLiad.

  1. Choose request type.
  2. Enter information.
  3. Submit.

  From a database.

  1. Click on the request via interlibrary loan link.
  2. Logon to ILLiad account.
  3. Verify information and submit.

• Request a book from OhioLINK?

  1. Search for book in OhioLINK catalog or via OSU catalog/OhioLINK.
  2. Click on Request this Item.
  3. Select Ohio State U from menu.
  4. Enter name/number.
  5. Choose institution and location from pickup menus.

• Request a book or article not at OSU?

  Request via ILLiad.

• Renew books checked out to me?

  1. Logon to My Record.
  2. Choose link to items currently checked out.
  3. Select items for renewal.
  4. Click on Renew Selected Items or Renew All.
  5. Log out.

• Renew interlibrary loan books?

  1. Logon to ILLiad account.
  2. Choose View/Renew Checked Out Items.
  3. Renewal and new due date will be confirmed by e-mail.

• Create an account on ILLiad?

  • Wooster-based: register as a First Time User on the OARDC ILLiad service.
  • Columbus or at another OSU campus: use the OSU Interlibrary Services ILLiad.
  • Health Sciences Library users: register at the HSL site.
