OARDC faculty can opt for a flat yearly membership
fee for microscope usage. This gives an approximately 50% discount on the hourly rates:
High user: $4,000/year: over 200 hours per year (equivalent to an average
of 4 hours per week of microscope usage).
Medium user: $2,000/year: between 140 and 200 hours per year ( in average
of 2.7 to 4 hours per week of microscope usage).
Low users: $1,000/year: up to 140 hours per year (in average 2.7 hours
per week of microscope usage).
