Area of expertise: Pursuing Degree: PhD
Focus: My main research project focuses on the role of calcium signaling during cellular cold-sensing in insect tissues. Additionally, I am a member of the Antarctic research team that studies the Antarctic midge, Belgica antarctica. For this project, I am primarily interested in the energetics of stress tolerance and the rold of dehydrin genes in desiccation/cold tolerance.
