A Ph.D. student in the Environmental Science Graduate Program, Jorge is an Environmental Engineer with a MS in Forestry and Environmental Conservation. His research field is wetlands eco-hydrology.
Jorge received a Ramsar Student Research Award for 2011 from the Society of Wetland Scientists at their annual meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, July 2011.
