Our vegetable disease management program focuses on the development of sustainable practices through the use of integrated pest management strategies. Our goal is to provide disease-free vegetables using management methods that provide produce that is healthy for the consumer, profitable for the grower, safe to the environment and supports rural communitites. Our lab takes both a conventional and organic approach to develop these systems.
