A truly interdisciplinary institution, OARDC is home to researchers from every department in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, and also to scientists from the College of Education and Human Ecology and the College of Veterinary Sciences. OARDC has also established further collaborations with other Ohio State University colleges and initiatives, universities, and industry groups through centers of innovation and state-of-the art laboratories.

Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center
The MCIC is a shared technology laboratory located at OARDC's Wooster campus, providing equipment and services in microscopy (light, confocal, transmission and scanning electron microscopy), and in the area of genomics and molecular biology (small scale sequencing, genotyping, massive parallel sequencing).
