Soil and Environmental Biochemistry and Microbial Ecology

The primary mission of the Soil and Environmental Biochemistry and Microbial Ecology Laboratory is to apply world class research and teaching to solving problems related to:

(1) Managing our limited soil resources wisely.

(2) Improving agricultural productivity for the betterment of all people in the world.

(3) Creating excellent local and global environmental quality.

A secondary mission is to create a working environment where everyone is valued and their contributions to the primary mission of the laboratory are given recognition.
