School children visit Krauss Dairy to learn about the importance of Ohio's dairy production industry.Thousands of people visit OARDC's Wooster campus each year to learn about our current research efforts. Self guided tours of campus and Secrest Arboretum are available 7 days a week during daylight hours. In addition, we offer guided tours to groups of 10 or more weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. A limited number of guided evening and weekend tours are also available. Guided tours require a minimum two-week advance notice, and dates are subject to availability. There is no charge for school and youth organizations; a rate of $2/person applies to all other guided tours. Our Visitor Center is also open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes educational exhibits and displays and a small gift area. Our ever-popular Bug Zoo has relocated to Thorne Hall within our entomology department, but is also available for public viewing.
