| OARDC will host it's 7th annual Science of Agriculture workshop October 1-2, 2008. Activities for K-5 students will take place on October 1; events for grade 6-12 students will be October 2.
Sessions are conducted by faculty and staff from OARDC's departments of Computing and Statistical Services; Entomology; Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering; Horticulture and Crop Science; Food Animal Health Research Program,and Plant Pathology as well as the School of Environment and Natural Resources, Garden of Roses of Legend and Romance and Secrest Arboretum. Additional sessions are conducted by the United States Department of Agriculture/Agricultural Research Service, Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District, Wayne County Recycling, and Town & Country Co-Op.

Over 1,000 students from across Ohio are registered to participate in the 2008 Science of Agriculture workshop. Those who are already registered can use the following links to download a listing of session locations for the October 1 k-5 event and the October 2 event for grades 6-12. Be sure to download a copy of our OARDC campus map to determine the location of your sessions and assess your transportation needs; you are responsible for transporting your students to all sessions.
