TEN PLACES YOU NOW KNOW BETTER ... AND 15 WAYS YOU CAN FIND OUT MORE

(The end is a beginning - field days are another way to see our branches)
In February we ended our series on OARDC's Outlying Branches . You got capsule reports on what each branch is doing. You read about the soils, crops, animals and regions that make each branch vital. And maybe you called the branch nearest you or even stopped in. We encourage you to keep up with the work at our branches. One good way to do this: come to our field days and special events. If you've been to them before, you know the "meat" you get - research results, plot tours and often one-on-one talk with our scientists. You stay current in your field and see some pretty special places. Our 1996 schedule, which was just announced, is featured in this issue. Get out your Daybook and pencil (pen! pen!) and read on!

DETAILS: The main office for OARDC's Outlying Branches is on our Wooster campus. For information, call Jim Trotter, Assistant to the Director for Field Operations, at (216) 263-3771. (Area code 330 after March 6.) There are two more ways you can follow the branches. The Northwestern Branch Liaison Committee and the Grape Research Branch Liaison Committee both put out fine newsletters . To get your name on their mailing lists (and no others!), ask for #165 (Northwestern) or #166 (Grape Research). Contact SCT, OSU/OARDC, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster, OH 44691 or martin.881@osu.edu.

DID YOU KNOW ... OARDC manages a total of about 7,200 acres at Columbus, Wooster and the Outlying Branches?
